You’re invited to join us on Wednesday, September 16, for our annual celebration of neighbors new and old! What started out as a way to welcome students new to the University of Minnesota has grown to a community-wide gathering celebrating the many ways we make community together.
What to Expect
Free Plants
Come pick out some greenery for your abode! We’ll have indoor plants for all conditions and experience levels, and a green-thumb volunteer to help you figure out what will work best for you.
Dinner
Join us for a baked potato and chili bar (organized by Community Kitchen) and sweet treats. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options will be available. There will be tables and chairs in the driveway and lots of grassy lawn space.
Meet Community Partners
In addition to First Church and Community Kitchen, you can talk with tenants from our building and other other community organizations, including Southeast Seniors.
