As part of our anniversary celebrations, we’re launching a community storytelling project, inviting First Church members to tell the stories of ordinary folks who were part of our community throughout our 175 year history.
We held a workshop introducing the project on October 4, but if you didn’t make it, you can still participate! You’re invited to scour archives—ours, public archives, and your own files—to learn more about one or more of the figures that helped make First Church the community it is today. Then you can write their story in under 500 words and share it with our community.
