First Church has several groups on Signal that you may want to be a part of. Signal is an open-source, encrypted messaging service; think of these groups as having a First Church chat in your pocket! You can download Signal free for iOS or Android; you can also use it as a desktop app once you have it set up on your phone.
Democracy in Action
This is a place for members and friends of the First Church community to quickly share information about how to get actively involved in democracy defense, rapid response, protest actions, etc. We also regularly post devotionals/meditations/reflections/poems to provide grounding in these strange and unprecedented times. Longer political discussions should be posted in our affiliated group—Democracy Chats.
